Decisions and data

The decision-making process in the response to COVID-19 has been characterized by time pressure and uncertainty. Since the first cases reported in China in December 2019, large volumes of data have been produced that have been used to generate knowledge about the disease, as well as to implement measures for its surveillance and control. From a qualitative perspective, based on interviews and ethnographic work, this subject of study seeks to understand the relationship between data science, artificial intelligence and decision-making related to COVID-19 in Colombia.

Do you want to participate in our interviews?

This COLEV’s subject of study is fed by information from two types of participants. On the one hand, decision makers directly involved in the response to COVID-19 and, on the other hand, developers of tools based on data science and artificial intelligence. If you are interested in participating in this project, please, do not hesitate to contact the following emails. Remember that all information shared will be confidential and for exclusively academic use.
