Catalina González Uribe

Principal Investigator - Director of Internacionalization

               

She is an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine in the Public Health and Epidemiology area and the Director of Internationalization at the Vice presidency of Research and Creation. Her research focuses on studying social inequalities in sexual health, reproductive health, and vector-borne diseases. She is passionate about interdisciplinary work, developing social indicators, and advising health projects with an intercultural focus.

She graduated from Anthropology, Psychology, and a master's degree in Anthropology from Universidad de Los Andes. She also holds a master's degree in Social Epidemiology and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Public Health from University College London.
