Simon James William Turner

Dr. Simon Turner joined the School of Management from the University of Manchester, where he was Senior Lecturer in Health Policy and Organisation (2017-2019). He has over 15 years’ post-doctoral research experience, having held research positions at University College London, King´s College London, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and the University of Cambridge. Simon's research interests lie in applying social science theory and methods (particularly ethnography) to the study of organizational and innovation processes in health care and wider public management. He holds a Ph.D. in economic geography from the University of Durham and undergraduate and master's degrees in human geography from the University of Birmingham. He is currently an Honorary Research Associate, Centre for Business Research, University of Cambridge, and Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
